Joy is a blessing! Her cakes are the best pound cakes I've ever had! Every flavor I've tasted has not only been delicious, but very moist, and the glaze is a perfect topper. Not too sweet! She is easy to work with and a good communicator, so if you order a cake, you can rest assured-it is taken care of! All of Joy By the Pound's cakes are yummy, but the Blueberry Lemon is my absolute favorite!

I have enjoyed cakes from Joy BEFORE it was Joy by the Pound! Her cakes are always so fresh, moist and absolutely delicious!! Being single, I don't have the need for an entire regular sized cake, that's another wonderful thing about these. She has minis in several flavors so you can have a treat that's just the right size and not worry about it getting too old. Plus, she's such a "joy" to work with! If you haven't tried them, I seriously suggest you give her cakes a try. You won't be sorry!

My Story
It all started in my mother's kitchen as a young girl. I loved being a part of making something yummy and enjoyed seeing the reaction of anyone who tasted my creation.
Today I am happily married to the love of my life and I am a mother of two amazing boys. They love the aroma of my delicious pound cakes filling our home. The kitchen is my absolute favorite place to be and baking is wonderful therapy for my southern soul!

Every cake I bake is special to me and makes me feel very blessed by God to be able to do something that I love and that I am truly passionate about. All of my Joy By The Pound cakes are special and unique because they are made from the heart!
